TAX HELP - CASE #1
A corporation owed the IRS $3 Million in back taxes. In order to collect the IRS put a levy on its bank accounts. As a result the corporation had a problem of not meeting payroll or accounts payable payments. After several conversations with the IRS the levy was
lifted, and after further extensive negotiations the $3 Million
IRS debt was settled for less than half the amount.
TAX HELP - CASE #2
A former professional athlete owed the IRS over $100,000. For 10 years, the IRS levied his bank accounts and income. However after a successful mediation, the levy was lifted and the $100,000 balance was settled for approximately $20,000. In addition the former athlete was now allowed to collect all his royalties without any IRS
levies or wage garnishment.
TAX HELP - CASE #3
A large corporation which operates a chain of well-known franchises owed
millions of dollars to the IRS. After extensive negotiations with the IRS, we
were able to resolve the tax problem for this corporation. We settled with
the IRS for half of the total amount owed, and the corporation was able to keep
the restaurants operating.
TAX HELP - CASE #4
A renowned entertainer in the recording industry owed over $500,000 to the IRS.
The IRS put a levy on his bank accounts and his royalties. We were able to
convince the IRS to remove the levy on his bank accounts and his royalties by
negotiating a reasonable installment plan.
TAX HELP - CASE #5
A successful medical doctor had an office manager who embezzled funds which were
to be sent to the IRS as tax payments. The doctor wound up owing $40,000
which included the principal as well as penalties and interests. Our tax
professionals clearly showed to the IRS that the tax problem arose from reasons
beyond the doctor's control. After a successful tax mediation, we were able to
eliminate $14,000 of penalties and interests.
TAX HELP - CASE #6
Due to rising costs and slowing down of his business, a truck driver owed the
IRS $24,000 in back taxes. This client had no extra income after covering his
expenses. On behalf of our client, we settled with
the IRS for $2,000.
TAX HELP - CASE #7
A contractor who employed several employees had $174,000 in back payroll tax
(941's). The client contacted us for help. Since
his business was no longer operating, we settled his tax problem for $7,000
with the IRS.
